Objectives of this Role

  • Continuously work to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively with all branches and all other internal partners to ensure quality customer service.
  • Optimize staff capability and productivity and ensure execution of the Bank’s strategic initiatives.
  • Create a strong service culture and manage the internal and external customer experience created by the team.
  • Strengthen employee development and ensure performance management of team members.
  • Coach, develop and empower loan staff to drive process improvement and optimize efficiencies.
Essential Functions

  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the post-closing operations team.
  • Complete ongoing quality checks to ensure accuracy and strong service levels.
  • Review and approve loan releases, full or partial.
  • Approve wires within delegated authority.
  • Manage flood and hazard insurance review, knowledge of notices, execution of forced placement, insurance and billing.
  • Ability to pivot and assist in multiple areas within the department, as needed, to ensure departmental success.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations, internal loan policies, and ensure departmental compliance and sound operational processes.
  • Ensure cross-training and backup coverage for the team’s core responsibilities.
  • Effectively onboard and train all new team hires.
  • Conduct ongoing performance and development conversations with each team member.
  • Actively participate, as requested, in enterprise and departmental projects.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2-5 years loan operations experience required
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to handle high workload and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
