Midwest Co-Pack LLC is a family-owned company located right here in Winona. We manufacture sweet gummy candy on state-of-the-art machinery and are currently expanding our Manufacturing Machine Operator team.

Note*** Applicants must have a prior 5 years’ experience in Machine Operating on their resume to be eligible for consideration.

What you will be doing:

Operator controls set-up of packaging machinery, set program parameters, loads film and additional components to finished case, documents output, weights, proper codes, monitors conveyor systems, product feeds, scales, and form and fill systems. Needed cleaning as required.

Job Duties:

• Operate or monitor various equipment to include but not limited to:
• Packaging machines and scales to maintain proper quality, weights, coding, and throughput:
• Metal Detectors
• Forklift, or electric pallet jack, or hand-pallet jack
• Ink jet printers
• Conveyors
• Perform Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) checks – metal detector.
• Track and record equipment operations.
• Support Food Safety Practices.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime, as needed.
• Follow established plant operating and cleaning procedures.
• Assist with On-the-Job training of new and existing employees.
• Cover vacations and overtime as needed or required.
• Assist other positions and departments, as needed.
• Perform other work as assigned.
