What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Construction Laborer position at Midwest Coatings Co., Inc.?
Midwest Coatings Company, Inc. is an asphalt pavement maintenance company based in Modale, IA. We are currently adding a pavement maintenance crew based out of Sioux Falls, SD. We specialize in milling, paving, crack sealing, slurry sealing, seal coating and chip sealing. MWC is looking for a reliable, motivated, self-starter who will be responsible for a variety of tasks, specific training will be provided by MWC.
Essential Skills:
· Ability to work in varying conditions
· Able to lift and / or handle materials weighting 50 pounds or more
· Comprehend and follow instructions
· Able to pass pre-employment drug test
· Perform other related duties as assigned including but not limited to: milling surfaces, working with air compressor tools, installing asphalt materials, walking and standing for long periods of time
· Operates pavement router and rider saws
· Drivers License Required
Pay and Benefits
· Starting at $20.00 / hour based on experience
