Midwest Communications—Nashville is seeking a Full-Time Promotions Coordinator to assist in the coordination of all station promotions, live events, client driven appearances, administrative duties, and the Part-Time Street Team staff. The ideal candidate must be a passionate, self-starter with the ability to take direction, manage tasks efficiently, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The optimal candidate must also enjoy working in a team environment that is deadline driven, dynamic, and fast-paced. Reporting to the Promotions Managers, the Promotions Coordinator will help facilitate all promotional activity both on and off air for the station group(s).

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits, and other street team activities from start to finish.
- Participates in weekly brainstorm meetings with the Promotions Managers and other departments as needed.
- Performs basic office administrative functions (i.e. write promotional copy, maintain station websites and calendars, create and schedule social media posts, distribute all tickets and prizing, etc.)
- Sets up on-site appearances, hangs banners and other staging and promotional elements.
- Facilitates documentation of all events (i.e. photos, videos, audio, and social media measures for station promotions and appearances.)
- Sets up, breaks down, and transports promotional event equipment as required.
- Prepares contest waivers and release forms for on air, digital, social media and other promotions.
- Supervises prize inventory and in-studio prize sheets, as well as awarding of prizes at events.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, SoCast, Business Suite, and all social media platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and effectively manage time.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Self-managing with strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and decision making.
- Project management from start to finish; assumes responsibility and accountability for all assignments and tasks.
- Actively listens, clearly and effectively conveys information, demonstrates strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Adherence to a variance in schedule and availability (occasional evenings and weekends as needed.)
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
- 1-3 years’ experience in radio marketing and promotions, communications, or administrative roles preferred
