Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment is seeking a skilled and motivated Warranty Returns Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor or line lead, with a strong understanding of handling returned products and receiving returns operations. In this role, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all activities related to product returns and recovery processes. You will ensure that returned products are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team responsible for processing returned products, warranty claims, and product recovery.
- Oversee returns receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments and returned goods.
- Develop and implement procedures for efficient processing, inspection, and disposition of returned products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, quality assurance, and logistics, to resolve issues and enhance return processes.
- Analyze data and metrics related to returns and product recovery to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Manage inventory levels of returned and recovered products, ensuring optimal storage and minimal waste.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in all return and recovery processes.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Address and resolve complex or escalated issues related to product returns and warranty claims.
Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse management, warranty returns processing, or a manufacturing related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisor or line lead position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and organize a team toward achieving goals.
- Knowledge of small engines, home backup generators, or pressure washers is not a requirement, but would be a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
