ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
- Rollup of daily Current Status sheet
- Set daily station schedules
- Maintain/Support Shipping/Receiving functions
- Send out Nightly Reports
- Identify gaps from targeted visual management performance
- Support Build Out(s)
- Support Control Design Changes
- Daily Customer Communication
- Support Yearly Inventory with Internal/External Auditors
- Support New Model activities
- Support business plan goals; develop and monitor departmental activities to ensure goals are achieved
- Support creation and maintenance of initial departmental procedures, operations standards, documents, forms, etc.
- Supervise maintenance of all associates training to SOP and Procedure updates
- Support maintenance of the departmental training matrix
- Analyze trends for SQCDM and develop countermeasures
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring; take actions to correct variances
- Ensure appropriate manpower planning and budgeting for efficient operations are in place and required resources are available to meet customer and corporate requirements
- Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the Department

- Solve problems and resolve issues and concerns that impact operational performance (quality, safety, finance, associate relations)
- Maintain all regulatory and compliance requirements of the Department
- Manage projects and provide guidance when needed
- Provide efficiency planning and cost improvements through Kaizen and Gemba activities
- Monitor Safety results and report as needed; assist in the development of safety related countermeasures and ensure a safe work environment
- Monitor Quality and Delivery results and report as needed; assist in the development of quality related countermeasures and rotate PDCA
- Provide analytical assessment of job functions and processes
- Anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures
- Maintain professional daily communications with all levels of associates and the customer
- Act as a role model to all Associates, Team Leaders, and Supervisors
- Assist in the development of a world class culture
- Communicate and enforce MEI Employment policies and procedures

- Support production functions as needed
- Post-high school education (2- or 4-year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in a warehouse management environment
- Strong computer skills, Familiar with Honda Web and HSP system
- Organized and detailed with deadlines – Teamwork driven
- Strong Communication skills with both internal and external customers
- Flexible hours when needed
- Strong problem-solving skills
