What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Midwest Eye Consultants?
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Maintain, balance and prioritize jobs while working in a fast paced environment.
- Perform work in the Check In, Layout, Insert, and Check Out functions within the Finish Side department at any given time.
- Provide assistance to the finish production lead through effective communication.
- Maintain organized and clean work area, including equipment.
- Maintains compliance with the organization’s confidentiality policy in accordance to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Monitors MWEC processes to ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and with the guidelines set by relevant regulatory agencies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate, or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (per ADA guidelines):

- Physical Requirements: Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of forced frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
