Description
Monitor daily cash positions and coordinates activity flows within Midwest Institutional Trust Services account relationships.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities to be performed with or without accommodation
- Raise cash and initiate cash movements
- Investigate and resolve overdrafts
- Retrieve and utilize information from trust system and other data sources to ensure processing of cash and transactions
- Assist internal and external clients with trading and account-related inquiries and problem resolution
- Evaluate and compile detailed information to ensure accuracy of transactions
- Monitor and coordinate cash flows for complex relationships to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Investigate and resolve service issues in a timely manner
Other Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure efficient account processing
- Execute account allocations and rebalancing
- Daily tracking and processing of on-going investment instructions
- Research special items and complete special projects as needed
- Review and recommend improvements to procedures
- Assist in departmental training and job shadowing
- Assist in conversion/de-conversion activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses required to perform essential functions
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities required to perform essential functions
- Extensive knowledge of FIS Trust System
- Ability to utilize Flexi ACH
- Ability to utilize all aspects of OLBB
- Ability to utilize the banking related systems
- Ability to determine appropriate method of processing all transaction types while adhering to industry standards and departmental procedures
- Ability to support highly complex relationships involving unitized funds
- Ability to support highly complex relationships involving master fund accounting
- Ability to research issues with the Automated Non-Dollar Investment (ANDI) system
- Ability to determine appropriate method of processing all transaction types while, adhering to industry standards and departmental procedures
Work Environment and Physical Demands required to perform essential functions
- Moderate noise (business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic)
- Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone
- Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work
