Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, this role will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the accounting procedures for various service teams. These tasks will include, but will not be limited to, the review of purchase orders and A/P invoices for all service teams.

This on-site position is in our Lombard office and works together with the Service Managers and Customer Service teams in order to ensure that all costs related to general service operations are captured and accounted for properly. Responsibilities include:

• Process accounts payable invoices related to all service teams’ purchase orders, ensuring proper approval and matching to the correct purchase order

• Follow up on related vendor open purchase orders and vendor invoices

• Scan and file all vendor/subcontractor Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

• Assist with overhead and/or other accounts payable activities as needed

• Other duties as assigned

The anticipated compensation range for this position is: $24 - $31.25 per hour depending on skills, education, and experience. •The position requires the candidate to have the ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs. in assistance of loading, unloading, and storing materials/equipment. This position may also require bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, balancing, kneeling, twisting, and standing.
