Deposit Operations Specialist

Overview Small enough to care. Big enough to deliver. This position is a Deposit Operations specialist role focused on a variety of department support functions utilizing a full understanding of various Deposit Operations roles. Foundational expertise is in overall account and portfolio ownership, set up and maintenance, and more advanced level operational support. Responsibilities Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations while performing all job responsibilities. Performs review of the following daily as assigned: Account and portfolio codes. Performs maintenance to keep core operating system current. Inactive/Dormant Reports. Notifies appropriate frontline personnel. Deposit-controlled accounts. Projects-System report and associated clean up. Account reconciliations. Various exception reports for any necessary corrections and to ensure system accuracy. Processes levies and garnishments. Performs MoneyGram transmittal. Performs OOPS Program Administrator duties. Performs research requests including legal/subpoenas. May perform one or more of the following as assigned duties: Reporting for IOLTA/IRETA; Review of Exception Reports to ensure accuracy and necessary corrections. Handling of accounts in escheatment status. Balancing and reconciliation of gift card program. Assists with internal and external customer requests. Assists in the development, evaluation, and implementation of procedures to enhance operations and productivity. Works on special projects as assigned which ensure that work is executed and delivered within required timeframes. Assists with other departmental duties, which includes providing back-up for other roles. Assists the Deposit Operations Team Leader to review and update duties, responsibilities, and procedures associated with this role on at least an annual basis. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Post high school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. In addition to education, prefer 3-5 years of experience in one or more Deposit Operations support roles or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Banking or financial experience is required. The Perks!
