Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized pain management plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient pain management needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement educational programs to promote pain management awareness and self-care skills among patients and families.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care activities, including pain management strategies and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pain Management or PACU settings, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Active RN license and required valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
- ACLS certification is mandatory, with PALS certification as required by facility practices.
