What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspection position at Midwest Staffing?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Inspector to ensure the quality of our products meets industry standards. The CMM Inspector will be responsible for operating and programming CMM equipment, conducting inspections, and documenting findings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment
- Program CMM machines based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Analyze inspection data and prepare inspection reports
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CMM Inspector in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment
- Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
