Customer Service - Showroom
DEPARTMENT: 200 W Industrial Lake Drive, Lincoln NE
REPORTS TO: Store Manager
GRADE: Hourly, Non-Exempt
HOURS: 730am – 5pm M-F and 9a-12p rotating Saturday.
Summary:
This position has a variety of responsibilities; from completing such as answering phone calls, taking payments, inputting orders, data entry to offering by showing customers samples, helping customers with stone/tile/sink selections and keeping the showroom clean, organized, and up to date with new materials. e tasks are restocking tools, grout, and pulling orders.
Computer skills, organization, flexibility, and superior customer service are very important skills for this position. The right person has passion for kitchen and bath design, the ability to work productively on their own, is a quick learner, not afraid to ask questions, and able to multitask.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Provide selections for wholesale and retail customers of stone slabs, tile, sinks, grout, and tools
· Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures
· Administer shipping and receiving for all material, including tile and stone store transfers and orders
· Office duties such as answering phones, data entry, inventory, and processing payments
· Verify tile, stone and specialty product inventory supply
· Manage store closing; including cash drawer, fleet vehicles and secure material
· Pulling and filling orders for other store locations as needed.
· Keeping showroom clean, organized, and up to date.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned to or as operational needs dictate
· Regular reliable attendance is an essential requirement for the job. MUST be on time
· Assisting in inventory control
· Assist customers in filling orders and loading (grout, tile, tools, etc.)
Qualifications:
· Possession of a diploma and one year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Reliable and dependable attendance is required
· Effectively prioritize workload and handle multiple projects at the same time
· Provide strong customer orientation
· Successfully communicate with internal and external customers in a team environment
· Proficient on computers
· Organized and detail minded
· Able to multitask and take direction from multiple people
· Friendly and able to hold a conversation with anyone
· Learn and retain information
· Valid driver’s license
· Minimum age of 18 years

Physical/Environmental Requirements:
· Light to occasional medium work.
· Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, lifting up to 30 lbs. of often.
· Exposed to both indoor and outdoor elements, primarily indoor.
· Jeans, boots/tennis, t-shirt or hoodie provided for uniform.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
