GRADE: Full-time / Non-Exempt (hourly)

HOURS: 730 am – 5:15 pm M-F and 9a-1p rotating Saturday.

Summary:

This position has a variety of duties in customer service, warehouse, and estimator bidding. This position works with the customer service manager who also over sees the fabrication department. This position does a variety of office work, warehouse, and customer service. Taking payments, inputting orders, answering phones, helping customers with stone selections, unloading/organizing deliveries, and learning to setup and complete potential project bids customers. Computer skills are very important, organization, flexibility, and superior customer service. The warehouse duties include selecting sinks, tile, grout and putting them on pallets, labeling, wrapping, and prepping for shipment. Additional duties include loading customers’ orders, unloading deliveries, and a variety of warehouse tasks. This is requires being detail minded, lifting up to 60 lbs., independently working, and good communication.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Provide selections for wholesale and retail customers of stone slabs, tile, sinks, grout, and tools

· Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures

· Administer shipping and receiving for all material, including tile and stone store transfers and orders

· Perform customer remnant bids

· Office duties such as answering phones, data entry, inventory, and processing payments

· Verify tile, stone and specialty product inventory supply

· Manage store closing; including cash drawer, fleet vehicles and secure material

· Assist in moving slabs and general maintenance

· Pulling and filling orders for 9 other store locations.

· Keeping warehouse organized while filling ordered items.

· Working with the yard crew to build safe, sturdy pallets of produce for transport.

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned to or as operational needs dictate

· Regular reliable attendance is an essential requirement for the job. MUST be on time

· Assisting in inventory control

· Assist customers in filling orders and loading (grout, tools, etc.)

· Assisting Fab shop manager and Yard manager as needed

Qualifications:

· Possession of a diploma and one year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Reliable and dependable attendance is required

· Effectively prioritize workload and handle multiple projects at the same time

· Provide strong customer orientation

· Successfully communicate with internal and external customers in a team environment

· Proficient on computers

· Organized and detail minded

· Able to multitask and take direction from multiple people

· Friendly and able to hold a conversation with anyone

· Learn and retain information

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel

· Minimum age of 18 years

· Must be on time, 730am M-F

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

· Medium work. Exerting up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Able to lift up to 60-70lbs.

· Exposed to both indoor and outdoor elements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.75 - $17.00 per hour
