Position Summary:
The Inside Sales/Counter role is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs, demonstrate superior selling skills and strengthen the relationship between Midwest Wheel Companies and its customer. This role serves as a key point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction while contributing to the company’s sales growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management
o Develops and maintains a loyal customer base by establishing and nurturing strong, long-term relationships.
- Product Expertise
o Stays informed about the full range of products offered by Midwest Wheel Companies to provide accurate information and guidance to customers.
- Order Management
o Efficiently hands customer orders through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, text and chat, ensuring prompt and accurate order processing.
- Sales Growth
o Actively seeks opportunities to increase sales by suggesting add-on products, upselling and recommending related parts that align with customer needs.
- Adaptability
o Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Branch Manager to support the overall goals of the branch.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to process customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
- Capability to make recommendations that align with customer needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient in PC-based computer skills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
Working Conditions
- Frequent talking, hearing and typing via telephone, computer chat or in person required.
- Long periods of sitting and using computer or telephone.
- Occasional lifting/moving of objects weighing 5-20lbs.
