Your Role

As our Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in uncovering and developing new business opportunities within the multi-family and commercial sectors. You'll build lasting client relationships while positioning our brand as a trusted leader in the industry. You will collaborate closely with our Business Development Manager and Leadership to execute strategies that drive revenue growth and elevate our reputation for quality.
.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Revenue Growth: Work with leadership to implement local market expansion strategies, tracking growth metrics to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Acquire New Clients: Lead client acquisition efforts through outreach, proposals, presentations, and more, focusing on multifamily communities, property managers, and commercial properties.
- Strengthen Relationships: Leverage industry expertise to develop strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
- Promote Our Brand: Champion Mighty Dog Roofing’s reputation for reliability and innovation, increasing brand awareness across targeted markets.
- Client Solutions: Conduct client meetings to understand their needs, providing tailored roofing solutions and maintenance plans.
- Guide Sales Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to identify new opportunities, crafting strategic sales approaches, including Bid/No-Bid decisions.
- Pipeline and Sales Funnel Management: Oversee the sales pipeline and funnel management to track opportunities, ensuring efficient follow-ups, and improving conversion rates.
- Optimize Efficiency: Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices and insights from client interactions, leadership discussions, and market trends.
- Business Development Practices: Employ common business development strategies, including cold calling, cold email campaigns, trade show involvement, and participation in local organizations to drive lead generation and market growth.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the competition by gathering and analyzing market and competitor data to refine strategies
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (relevant work experience may be substituted for education).
- 9 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or a similar role, preferably in construction, roofing, or related industries.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven experience in business development, with a strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of business development principles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and database management.
- Experience working with property management companies or multifamily communities is a plus.
