Expeditor Position
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Expeditor to facilitate communication between front of house servers/managers and line cooks/Chefs at Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys puzzles, can work well under pressure, and has strong communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely preparation and service of appetizers, entrees, and special orders by facilitating effective communication between kitchen staff and front of house servers.
- Assemble plates in a timely fashion for delivery to diners, considering temperature of food, correct garnishes, food allergies, and plate presentation.
Key Skills:
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure during busy periods.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available.
- Seasonal position from May through October.
- Compensation: $17 to $20 per hour plus additional 7% incentive payment.
