Operations Manager
Job Overview
The Operations Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing curbside management services at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of vehicle dispatching, vehicle inspections, and customer service operations, ensuring all services are provided as outlined.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of curbside services, ensuring efficient vehicle dispatching and crowd control.
- Support the General Manager in developing and implementing operational plans, including staffing and scheduling.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, suggesting improvements as needed.
- Lead the team in implementing diversion strategies and other customer service programs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of training programs for all personnel involved in curbside management.
- Handle escalated customer service issues and provide solutions to operational challenges.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ground transportation management, with at least 3 years in an airport or similar environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with experience managing operational teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with vehicle dispatch systems and customer service in a transportation setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, or related field preferred.
