Duties
- Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Work with sheet metal to fabricate and install replacement parts as needed.
- Conduct welding tasks to ensure structural integrity of repaired areas.
- Apply soldering techniques for minor repairs and restorations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair processes and timelines effectively.
- Assist in auto estimating by accurately assessing damage and providing detailed reports for insurance claims.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
- Proficiency in working with sheet metal and performing welding tasks is essential.
- Familiarity with auto restoration techniques is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
