This role involves managing day-to-day IT operations, maintaining technology systems and equipment, and providing onsite and remote support to users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, supporting end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data security. Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts, backups, and system configurations.
- Provide in-house and remote support for software, hardware, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and copiers.
- Ensure operating systems and software are updated and running efficiently.
- Procure, configure, and maintain computers, devices, and software.
- Manage and distribute mobile devices and assist with office phone systems.
- Oversee servers, security systems, and specialized software like QuickBooks.
- Maintain and update administrative IT documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a polite, patient, and user-friendly approach.
- Experience managing third-party vendors.
- Microsoft operating systems and Office 365. (Required 3-5 years of experience)
- Microsoft Azure/Entra and 365 administration. (Required 3-5 years of experience)
- Networking protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, firewalls, security).
- Software such as Adobe Acrobat and Outlook.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or Yardi (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Mac/Apple devices (a plus but not required).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and handle confidential information.
