Summary

Mike's Famous Harley-Davidson, one of the largest dealership in South Eastern Connecticut, is seeking an Experienced Human Resources/Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Develop and implement employee orientation programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
• Implement performance management systems that promote employee development and accountability.
• Facilitate training programs for the staff.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies.
• Administer benefits including but not limited to: 401K, Health, Dental.,Vision, Disability.
• Accounting duties including: AP/AR, Reconciling Accounts, Payroll, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation, etc..
• Additionally duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associates Degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working Knowledge with Payroll Systems such as ADP, Excel, Word and other Computer Systems.
• Automotive industry experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: $62,500.00 per year
