Position Summary
Mike’s Mobile Laundry is seeking a Store Attendant to provide an outstanding customer experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our self-service laundromat and drop-off laundry services. As the first point of contact for customers, this role requires friendly, proactive service, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness and efficiency. The Store Attendant will assist customers with machine usage, process drop-off laundry orders, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting all guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle transactions for self-service and drop-off services, accurately weighing laundry and processing payments.
- Educate customers on self-service laundry machine operation and recommend the best machines for their needs.
- Process drop-off laundry orders according to customer preferences, ensuring high-quality wash, dry, and fold service.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including floors, machines, folding tables, and restrooms.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and fully stocked environment, replenishing detergents and supplies as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Complete daily and shift cleaning tasks as outlined in store protocols.
- Work independently and manage time efficiently to balance customer service and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required—a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to assist customers with a welcoming demeanor.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including tablets and point-of-sale systems.
