Household Moving

Immediate Hire for Non-CDL drivers for Mike’s Moving Inc, Bastrop TX…Must have experience in the commercial moving industry. ALL Drivers will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Report. Drivers must be 21 or older and ALL drivers, will be required to not only drive, but load and unload the household goods and furniture that is being transported.

Pay is hourly and dependent on experience in the moving industry as well as driving experience.

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for the role of Household Moving. This position involves assisting clients with their moving needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from one location to another. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be capable of handling heavy lifting and driving responsibilities.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck to transport household items to designated locations.
• Assist in loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for efficient movement of heavy items.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
• Follow established routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Experience

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the workday.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles, including manual transmission, is a plus.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact positively with clients.

Pay: $21.48 - $25.87 per hour
