Job Description and Responsibilities - As a Real Estate Paralegal, your primary role will be to assist with the management of general brokerage transactions of our law firm, including assisting with real estate closings, preparing and reviewing real estate documents such as deeds, contracts, closing disclosures and settlement statements. Communicate with clients, lenders, realtors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions by coordinating with all parties. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Responsibilities in this role also include supporting the company vision, mission, and values while becoming a single point of accountability to the Firm Owners. Qualifications - You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Any preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience in real estate law or real estate transactions (typically 1-3 years).
- Strong understanding of South Carolina real estate laws, title procedures, and closing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), internet research skills, document management systems.
- Must have experience in some real estate closing software, with Qualia being preferred.
- Positive, solution-oriented attitude and ability to work positively on a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills and demonstrated efficiency with Time Management and Prioritization.
- Professional appearance, strong drafting, and clear oral communication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
