What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef position at Mila's of Seaside?
Mia’s of Seaside is a new trendy breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant opening in Seaside Heights in April. We are in search of an experienced, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable head chef to run our kitchen.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for quality control, kitchen management, and instilling a positive work environment. Our head chef will oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, from working directly with the owners on menu development, weekly specials & seasonal menu planning to assisting with the ordering of supplies and stock inventory appropriately.
We are looking for someone who has excellent time management skills and has previously worked in a fast paced environment. Must demonstrate attention to detail, maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Morning and weekends are required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure organization, cleanliness, and food safety
- Provide guidance to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency
- Effectively manage the kitchen budget, minimizing waste while maximizing food quality
- Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions
- Ensure that all kitchen policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines are followed and completed on a timely basis
- Ability to manage all stations from prep to service.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
