Tasting Room Staff

As part of the Milam and Greene team, the Tasting Room Staff is the first person visitors to the distillery meet when they walk through the door. Delighting our customers is our number one priority. We're looking for an enthusiastic person to greet our visitors and provide them an excellent Hill Country experience.

Essential Duties:

• Greet customers and welcome them to our facility.
• Tend bar.
• Sell bottles and merchandise.
• Prep ingredients for cocktails.
• Keep tasting room clean and tidy.
• Represent the brand with pride.
• Follows established company guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Abides by all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitors and reports any safety concerns including work related injuries, etc.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Valid driver’s license.

Required Competencies

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day, can lift items up to 25 pounds repeatedly and perform functions at a significant pace.
• Must be TABC Seller Server Certified or the eligibility to obtain certification.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to communicate with all levels of staff, vendors, and customers.
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain flexibility as necessary.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Ability to complete paperwork associated with this position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
