Schedules Available: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Weekend rotation: No Weekends
Holiday rotation: Paid Holidays
Position Summary:
The Outreach Clinic Nurse Lead position is responsible for the organization, coordination, and management of the clinic, as well as providing direct patient care.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks: patient care staff schedules, timesheet management, vacation/leave approval, assigned training, meetings, supply/vaccine order and management.
- With direction from and collaboration with the Outreach Clinic Manager, the Outreach Clinic Nurse Lead is responsible for team building, communication, employee issues/concerns, training and competency, budgeting/invoices, conduct employee reviews and ensuring compliance with organization policies/procedures and professional standards.
- Provider liaison.
- Patient care.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- 3 years of related work experience in a similar role preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
- Comprehensive nursing skills and direct patient care experience required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
