Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of their shifts’ tasks and responsibilities; to complete daily tasks under the supervision and guidance of the Grow Management Team. Requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to company policy and state laws.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for maintaining plant and environment health and homeostasis throughout the grow at all times, including learning, understanding, applying, and executing any and all information and tasks, including:

o Spraying pesticides, MUST pass Respirator Exam and Respirator Fit Test

o Monitoring irrigation systems and functionality

o Potting

o Manicuring plants

o Cloning: cutting and replacing moms

o Trimming

o Harvesting, including Super Cropping, Netting and Leafing

o Cleaning and taking out the trash

  • Follows all grow processes and SOPS at all times.
  • Show up on time to scheduled shifts, ready to work (i.e., dressed appropriately, wearing MED badge). Follow all policies for recording hours worked and notification procedures for any and all absences. Promote a work environment that is positive, teamwork oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
  • Accountable for knowing and accurately using Lit’s grow and operational systems. Support management, management reporting and information flow.
  • Follows appropriate state and local laws as well as company guidelines, and handling inspections with all the state officials, including the MED and CDA.
  • Disposes of “Green Waste” according to Mile High Medical Cannabis (LIT) guidelines, as well as any and all applicable state guidelines.
  • Knows, understands, applies, and complies with all company procedures for chain of custody and inventory control.
  • Working knowledge of MED regulations and compliance. Makes good judgment calls pertaining to regulations.

  • Ability to address and resolve problems in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts. Must have basic Microsoft Office and Google Drive skills.
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences. Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately, including asking for help or guidance when needed.
  • Stays busy and productive, looking and asking for things to do or how they can be of help. Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex statutes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and laws.
  • Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, data base management, METRC, Homebase, Slack, Gusto, Gmail, spreadsheet applications and any form of electronic mail.

Additional Requirements:

  • Colorado driver’s license or State ID card
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Must obtain and retain a state-issued MED Badge

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year experience in warehouse or grow operation preferred
  • Cannabis experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • Professional and effective communication, both written and verbal and handle various types of media and equipment.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds, or double that with assistance.
  • Ability to handle and diffuse high stress situations and a fast-paced company.
  • All new employees will serve a 90-day probationary period to enable the Management team to determine suitability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.81 - $23.00 per hour
