We are seeking a Technology Coordinator to support and maintain in-house technological equipment and IT assets. This includes maintaining hardware and software inventory, troubleshooting, and assisting with help desk tickets and setting up computer equipment and phones as needed. This person will also assist with research for projects and budgets and track and maintain software licenses and warranties. Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures for tracking the sign-in and sign-out of mobile assets, such as laptops, PDAs, and other devices.
- Explore opportunities for maximizing unused or partially used IT assets to achieve full efficiency and ROI from company resources.
- Develop strategies and external relationships to implement plans for auctioning, recycling, or otherwise selling obsolete assets.
- Participate in evaluation of the asset management process.
- Placing orders for hardware, software and other needed items with vendors online and over the phone.
- Maintaining hardware inventory of PCs, laptops, scanners, printers and other machines.
- Maintaining software inventory of computer application keys, serial numbers and support contact information.
- Assisting with research as needed for project and budgets given by the Information Technology's CIO and team.
- Ensuring invoices are coded and sent to appropriate individuals for payment.
- Keeping an active budget on department expenses.
- Placing calls for and scheduling maintenance and support needs.
- Troubleshooting or assisting with help desk tickets as needed.
- Performing or assisting with setup of computer equipment like phones, PCs, smartphones, etc. as needed.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing technical and financial data of company software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement.
- Track and maintain copies of software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Enter all software and hardware serial numbers or identification tags into configuration management system (CMS) and ensure information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditable.
- Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support.
- Research industry best practices and compare against the organization's practices to establish benchmarks for managing IT assets.
- Effectively communicate asset management strategies to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- If possible, standardize equipment to lower total costs.
- Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions and accuracy issues of the CMS repository.

The pay range for this position is $50,100 - $73,400. The pay range provided is in compliance with state, city, or local employment laws and applies to this location only. Actual pay for this position will be determined based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, current market data, and business needs.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position or sit for prolonged periods and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and / or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is frequently required to perform light work that includes lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds.
