The Field Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the company's applications and service-related initiatives through professional technical support and customer service.
Requirements
- Develop strong applications and engineering knowledge for all products spanning both Analytical and Terpene Processing Divisions.
- Perform installations and applications training at customer sites.
- Perform customer specific product demonstrations and presentations both on-site and virtually.
- Enhance post-sales support: identifying additional accessories/consumables opportunities, building strong customer relationships, developing references/user profiles.
- Partner with Senior Management and product specialists to ensure that client needs are understood, and optimal solution is provided.
- Attend local and national seminars and shows.
Benefits
- Bachelors or master’s in chemistry or science related field preferred with at least 1-3 years of successful experience in laboratory equipment or supplies/capital equipment sales; would consider a recent college grad.
- Present technical and competitive information in a clear, concise manner.
- Experience with sample preparation or metals analysis
- Technical expertise or aptitude for inorganic and organic chemistry applications
- Possess strong awareness of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.
- Excellent oral, written and computer skills. Microsoft Office proficient. Experience with Salesforce a plus
- Ability to travel up to 55 % of the time
