Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an I & E Coordinator located in Chalmette LA. The I & E Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating instrumentation and electrical activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, providing technical support, and collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in instrumentation and electrical coordination
- Knowledge of project specifications and technical support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate project activities
- Experience in construction or project management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Proven experience (typically 5 years) in construction coordination within the oil and gas industry, specifically in refinery projects.
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems, including codes, standards, and installation practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP) is desirable.
- Per Diem available for first 6 months as this will be a long term role.
