We are seeking a marketing leader to join us as the Head of Regional Marketing, Americas. As the senior commercial marketing counterpart to the sales leadership in North America and Latin America, this position is responsible for setting the regional marketing priorities and leading optimized execution across the key regional markets, per the Milestone Marketing Strategy and defined global frameworks and delivery model. The role is also responsible for the overall marketing performance of the North America and Latin America regions, managing the regional marketing budget, and achieving the agreed-upon marketing KPIs and metrics.
Milestone Systems sells through and with channel partners. Therefore, the Head of Regional Marketing must actively understand and manage key partner relationships to ensure the success of marketing initiatives in our indirect sales channels. They oversee growth with the partners and execution of the dedicated channel marketing plans.

Key roles & responsibilities
Priorities, planning and targets
- Defines the regional marketing priorities in alignment with the Marketing Strategic Priorities and Sales targets.
- Ensures that the regional sales strategies, plans and targets are translated into effective marketing plans and initiatives for North America and LATAM.
- Oversees accurate planning and tracking of all regional marketing plans and activities as part of the Milestone Marketing planning and communication regime.
- Sets the overall regional marketing targets for globally agreed-upon KPIs, which the VP of Regional marketing must approve.
Marketing activation
- Oversees effective delivery of channel marketing initiatives across all key markets and territories as per agreed business objectives. Fosters collaboration across the marketing team - between regional marketing, channel marketing, and global Partner Marketing.
- Understands the needs and supports the rollout/anchoring of internal sales enablement initiatives across North America and LATAM.
- Oversees timely and efficient roll-out of global campaigns per agreed objectives in North America and LATAM. Ensures quality feedback on performance and opportunities for continued optimization across the key markets.
- Supports the identification and definition of localized digital demand generation initiatives and marketing automation programs, working closely with the Global Demand Generation team to manage and optimize performance.
- Oversees the execution of events and tradeshows (online and virtual) in key markets, including performance management of events budget and KPIs. Promotes the usage of digital wrappers and programmatic planning and execution.
- Drives and promotes identification of local references and case studies across North America and LATAM, in collaboration with global colleagues.
- Oversees co-marketing plans and initiatives per the global Technology Partner Strategy with selected technology partners.
- Manages the earned and owned media coverage for North America and LATAM in collaboration with global marketing and comms.
Brand awareness and compliance
- Understands the perception and level of brand awareness in North America and LATAM and is committed to strengthening the position through all marketing efforts.
- Is a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards across market-specific marketing activities, including messaging, visuals, and partner and end-customer experience.
Collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Works intimately with senior regional sales leadership and other key stakeholders to define priorities and ensure that plans, must-win battles, performance, and business requirements are met.
- Promotes and drives proactive collaboration with the Global Marketing teams to ensure that regional marketing initiatives align with overall business goals and objectives.
- Is part of the Regional Marketing Leadership team and is in close alignment and engagement with colleagues, sharing and leveraging best practices.
- Understands the key channel partner landscape and invests in developing trusted relationships with channel partners to continuously drive growth and sales in North America and LATAM.
- Understands the Technology Partner Strategy and its implications in the market. Works closely with sales leadership and technology managers to promote business opportunities for collaboration.
- Oversees all external vendor engagements to support the delivery of marketing efforts.
Budget management
- Distributes the regional marketing budget according to market priorities, constantly managing and seeking to optimize resource application and allocation.
- Ensures accurate and timely forecasts and reporting as part of the Milestone reporting regime.
Performance tracking
- In accordance with global standards, you will monitor and analyze key performance metrics for North America and Latin America to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to performance tracking and reporting requirements.
Market analysis and insights
- Supports local market research and analysis to identify market trends, end-customer preferences, and the competitive landscape. Collaborates with global marketing colleagues to provide insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
Experience & attributes
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing required, with a Master's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
- Extensive experience in marketing leadership roles, focusing on developing and implementing impactful marketing plans in North America – especially in the US. Experience with a two-tier channel business model is preferred
- Demonstrated track record in growing revenue within B2B technology companies
- Strong analytical skills. Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance
- Strategic thinker with a digital mindset, with a multi-channel data-driven approach
- Strategic business partner to regional sales leadership, technology managers and channel partners
- Strong leadership and people management skills, ability to direct and motivate a culturally diverse and geographically dispersed team
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and priorities in parallel, works efficiently to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets and resources effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships and influence stakeholders. Experienced working across cultures and geographies
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $190,938 to $294,185, with most candidates falling in the $239,689 to $266,348 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
