Milestone seeks a Channel Marketing Manager to join our growing team in the Americas. The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering effective and targeted co-marketing for selected channel accounts (distributors and/or resellers) in the US market and North America region, as selling to, with, and through our partners is an imperative part of our go-to-market strategy. The manager also executes tactics for the global channel partners (Convergint, Securitas, G4S, and Stone Security).
The Channel Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, who oversees and actively contributes to formalization of the channel marketing plans, budget management, and execution of the channel tactics – in alignment with the overall regional marketing plan.
The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of the channel marketing plans in alignment with the commercial growth targets and defines measurable KPIs. This calls for close alignment and collaboration with the regional marketing managers and the sales counterparts. Together with the Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, the Channel Marketing Manager manages the channel marketing budget and, where relevant, also the management of the channel ‘market development funds’/alternative incentive funds. She/he executes the tactics in accordance with the plans and continuously seeks to optimize performance with the selected channel partners. For the selected channel accounts, the Channel Marketing Manager is the daily point of contact, for all things marketing. He/she is responsible for ensuring that key product, business, and partner program messages are received by the channel partners, and the adaptation and usage of the partner portal are optimized with the partner.
The role requires extensive engagement with the global and regional marketing teams, as well as with the Sales team – including the Channel Business Managers (CBMs), whom will be the primary stakeholder to collaborate with to grow the channel accounts.
This is a fully remote role that can be located anywhere in the US.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $99,413 to $131,601, with most candidates falling in the $110,947 to $125,022 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance. Key roles & responsibilities
Planning and targets
- Based on the growth target and business priorities defined with the CBMs, the Channel Marketing Manager defines the annual marketing plans with the national channel partner. Where possible,, this should be part of the channel account plan. The channel marketing manager works closely with the rest of the channel marketing group and the regional marketing team.
- Defines the Marketing KPIs and targets in alignment with the plan. This should reflect overall growth targets (revenue) and specific targets for key marketing tactics. It is key that targets and goals are reflected in the overall performance overview for the regional marketing team.
- Continuously work with the Senior Manager, Channel Marketing and the rest of the regional marketing team to ensure partner performance aligns with the overall regional marketing plan, and to communicate needs from the selected channel accounts that can influence the overall regional marketing plan.
Marketing activation
- Delivers effective channel marketing initiatives as per agreed business objectives. Collaborates with Partner Marketing team and supports execution where possible. This includes but is not limited to: co-marketing campaigns, sales training programs, content on the partner portal and sales promotions.
- Activates global Partner Campaigns in a box with named partners and derives marketing tactics that can drive demand generation with the partner.
- Optimizes collaboration with selected value-add distributors who are given funds to prioritize marketing activities across all product lines and partners using the distributor toolkit.
- Facilitates the production of case studies with the named partners to drive channel sales and awareness and meet co-marketing goals. This is done together with the subject matter experts and the program owner from Global Marketing.
- Constantly look for ways to optimize and scale efforts to yield better return on investments.
Brand compliance
- Is a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards across market-specific marketing activities, including messaging, visuals, and partner and end-customer experience. Use the Milestone Partner Portal as a first point of entry for co-branded assets.
Collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Works closely with Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, and the regional marketing team to deliver on regional marketing goals and business objectives.
- Works intimately with the Channel Business Managers and Distribution Managers (CBMs/ DCMs) and other key stakeholders to set plans, define must win battles, evaluate performance and business requirements for the channel partners.
- Proactively shares and leverages best practices across the regional marketing group worldwide.
- Source and engage external vendors if/when required to support marketing efforts and drive business growth.
Budget management
- Manages the budget for specific channel partners – always seeking to win business and optimize return of investment with the partner. The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, oversees the management of the marketing budget.
- Manages the funds for selected distributors, based on defined incentive model and targets.
Performance tracking
- In line with global standards, monitors and analyzes key performance metrics across the accounts to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to performance tracking and reporting requirements.
- Effectively use Intel MDF to drive return on investment and in full compliance with Intel guidelines.
Channel Marketing capability
- Is a proactive contributor in building the Milestone Channel Marketing capability.
- Share lessons learned, best practices, and industry trends within the region and across the regional channel marketing managers.
Experience & attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business field
- Experienced B2B marketeer with demonstrated success in driving
growth in a two-tier channel model - Extensive experience in channel marketing from larger corporations, including management of market development funds (MDF)
- Experience from the tech and/or software industry
- A team player with an intrinsic motive to help colleagues and go an extra mile to deliver on commitments
- Skilled in developing and executing channel marketing plans addressing business objectives , with the channel partner
- Digital mindset and experience in delivering co-marketing demand generation programs.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms for tracking and reporting on performance
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and priorities in parallel, works efficiently to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets and resources effectively
- A marketing partner to sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Experienced working across cultures and geographies
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
