Position:Behavioral Assistant
Location:Milford High School – Vocational Program
Schedule:2024-2025 School Year – Hours 7:50 – 2:20
Salary:Per Contract $18.00 - $23.49/hour based on experience
To Start:February 2025
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred;
Experience working with students with and without disabilities;
Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom
Experience working with English Language Learners
Bilingual preferred
CPI training preferred
Responsibilities:
•Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers and
classroom teachers
•7d License required or willing to obtain one
•Drive and job coach students at various local job sites
•Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-
emotional and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the
teacher;
•Communicate and collaborate with teachers;
•Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting;
•Ability to modify curriculum;
•Maintain confidential information;
•Collect data on student performance as needed;
•Assist students with daily living/self-help skills;
•Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; and
•Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
Salary : $18 - $23
