Position: Behavioral Assistant Location: Milford High School Vocational ProgramSchedule: 2024-2025 School Year Hours 7:50 2:20Salary: Per Contract $18.00 - $23.49/hour based on experienceTo Start: February 2025Qualifications: Bachelors Degree preferred;Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred;Experience working with students with and without disabilities;Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroomExperience working with English Language LearnersBilingual preferredCPI training preferredResponsibilities: Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers andclassroom teachers7d License required or willing to obtain oneDrive and job coach students at various local job sites Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social- emotional and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher;Communicate and collaborate with teachers;Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting;Ability to modify curriculum;Maintain confidential information;Collect data on student performance as needed;Assist students with daily living/self-help skills;Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; andPerform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
