JOB OVERVIEW
The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, traffic, and revenue for Milk Bars Bakery (brick-and-mortar) channel. This role will focus on in-store activations, local and market-level marketing initiatives, and customer engagement strategies to strengthen brand loyalty and drive same store sales in our bakery locations. Additionally, this role will support select marketing efforts for the Wholesale and CPG business, including trade show execution, key customer couponing, and the development of sales and marketing materials.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to increase traffic and sales across Milk Bars bakery locations.

Plan and manage local store marketing initiatives, including community partnerships, influencer collaborations, and pop-up events.

Define, plan, execute, and measure paid media campaigns aligned with budget that drive new customer acquisition.

Drive awareness and engagement through seasonal promotions, new product launches, and in-store activations.

Partner with creative and brand teams to ensure in-store signage, digital marketing, and promotional materials align with Milk Bars voice and aesthetic.

Work closely with the operations and finance teams to analyze marketing performance, track KPIs, and optimize campaigns for impact.

Support loyalty programs and partnerships that drive AOV and SSS.

Stay ahead of trends in retail marketing, food, and hospitality to keep Milk Bars approach fresh, innovative, and effective.

Fully understand and exhibit the Milk Bar ethos, embodying our core values and inspiring celebration. Serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Must be based in the NYC Metropolitan area

Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications

4 years professional experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies including traditional and digital media, analyzing marketing trends and customer insights, managing budget, owning campaign performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business goals.

Hands-on experience in strategizing and executing marketing programs and campaigns, including development of and measurement against performance metrics.
