What are the responsibilities and job description for the Milk Driver position at Milk Collection Services Of America Llc?
Responsible for the pickup of milk from various dairy farms and delivery to a central collection center.
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 8 CMV and tank trailer over a variety of streets, highways and rural access roads.
- Fully comply with all FDA regulations governing the sanitary loading, transport, and unloading of milk.
- Inspect truck and trailer for damage or broken equipment.
- Promptly report damage or broken equipment.
- Accurately complete driver logs, work completion reports, and equipment damage reports as required.
- Such other duties as may be assigned.
Current CDL with tank endorsement; Four (4) years or more of commercial truck driving experience. KLB requires six (6) months tanker experience within the last two (2) years or one (1) year of verified tanker experience within the past (3) years. Tanker experience outside the four (4) year commercial driving experience time frame will need to be approved by KLBs corporate safety department. Driving record must satisfy KLB driver hiring standards. Must read and write in English.
- Familiarity with milk transfer equipment and procedures.
- Ability to safely and accurately work under tight time constraints.

Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Job involves some walking and frequent climbing in and out of the truck cab and on and off trailers. Must have ability to safely climb stairs, ladders, and equipment footholds. Conduct transfer operations outside in all weather conditions. Must possess ability to work nights and weekends where required.
