What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Tech position at MILKOVICH HOLDINGS?
We are currently looking for a full time Industrial Maintenance Tech for work in North Canton. We are looking for someone who is reliable and is a team player.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Electrical troubleshooting including PLC's using discreet and analog inputs/outputs
· Troubleshoot and repair machines, including: hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and computer based machine issues
· Troubleshoot and repair material conveying systems
· Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments
· Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools, and examining form and texture of parts
· Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
· Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery, auxiliary equipment, and fixtures
Minimum Requirements
· Able to read prints (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic)
· Strong mechanical skills with the ability to work from mechanical drawing to interpret how mechanical parts are disassembled/ re-assembled
· Basic knowledge of how PLC’s work
· Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and other co-workers
· Physically be able to be on your feel for 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
