As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Door Assembler to join our team. As a Door Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, responsible for assembling and manufacturing various types of doors according to customer specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble doors by accurately measuring, cutting, and fitting door components such as frames, panels, hardware, and glass inserts.
- Review detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand door design requirements and ensure accurate assembly.
- Inspect finished doors for quality and precision, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications.
- Safely handle and move materials and components required for door assembly, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of door components, monitor stock levels, and communicate with the supervisor regarding material needs.
- Work closely with team members, including supervisors, designers, and other assemblers, to ensure efficient production flow and timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper use and maintenance of tools and machinery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess the ability read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch.
- Prior experience in door assembly or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Proficient understanding of door assembly techniques, including frame construction, hardware installation, and glass fitting.
- Ability to interpret and understand detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications related to door assembly.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements, alignment, and fitting of door components.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrated commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.
