Packaging Operator

Job Summary
The Packaging Operator plays a crucial role in the production process by ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can operate packaging machinery, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in a warehouse setting, contributing to the overall success of our production team.

Duties

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Assemble and package products according to specifications, ensuring quality control at every stage.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment as needed for fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Maintain compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations throughout the packaging process.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
• Understanding of CGMP guidelines and FDA regulations related to packaging operations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance during the packaging process.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
