Job Summary:
The Tool and Die Maker or Technician will repair, maintain, and fabricate injection mold tooling. This role supports production by ensuring molds are in top condition, completing engineering changes, and maintaining a well-organized tool room. You'll work with mills, lathes, grinders, CNC machines, and other precision tools to do the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair damage on injection molds and tools
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble tooling for preventative maintenance
- Operate manual mills, surface grinders, and lathes (CNC experience a plus)
- Program and run CNC machines for tool and die fabrication
- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and blueprints to build or modify tools
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Support the team with design changes and tooling updates
- Keep the tool room organized and follow 5S practices
- Follow and promote safety standards; report hazards as they occur
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or Technician, Mold Maker, or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with hand tools, shop equipment, and measuring instruments
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience in mold repair and injection tooling maintenance
- Clean and organized person
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
- CNC programming and machining
- Welding and fabrication
- Familiarity with 5S methodology
- Experience in an injection molding environment

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 7 am to 3:30/4:30 pm
- Occasional overtime as needed
