What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadership and Learning Facilitator for Millard Public Schools position at Millard Public Schools?
The Leadership and Learning Facilitator supports the educational programs and services of the District by demonstrating the ability to work with a variety of people in multiple settings, working effectively with adult learners, applying appropriate facilitation techniques, and consensus building strategies in collaboration with other departments to implement initiatives aligned with District areas of focus. As a strong team member, every Leadership & Learning Facilitator supports all of the big areas of Leadership & Learning. This specific facilitator position will lead in site planning & professional learning. An additional 20 contract days are flexed to include days in June & July.
MA or equivalent in Curriculum and Instruction, or Educational Administration/Leadership preferred.
Current or past participation in MPS Leadership Academy preferred.
Essential Functions: Specific responsibilities for this position will include:
- Supports the Continuous Improvement efforts of the District including helping to organize accreditation visits and District Strategic Planning. This position is the lead facilitator for building site planning and will serve as a District Action Team Leader
- Plans, coordinates, and facilitates professional learning offerings for salaried and hourly staff
- Plans and co-facilitates Building Staff Development Facilitator Meetings
- Offers support to building principals and other district departments in planning of staff development
- Supports MPS staff as an Instructional Coach
- Other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor
