2025-2026 TK (Transitional Kindergarten) Teacher

TK is part of the K-12 public school system and is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program, serving four-year-old-children regardless of income, that uses a modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate. Pursuant to Education Code (EC) Section 48000(f), TK programs are intended to be aligned to the California Preschool Learning Foundations developed by the California Department of Education. TK is not considered a preschool program and must be taught by an educator who holds an appropriate credential to teach TK. Welcome to Millbrae Elementary School District! All our schools have an active PTA/PTO supporting school-based programs. Our Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) is a parent-led organization providing support for music, physical education and STEAM education for all five of our schools.
