Key Responsibilities
- Process orders and identify patients with two identifiers to ensure accurate specimen collection.
- Procure blood samples from all age groups and perform CLIA waived testing according to procedures.
- Assume responsibility for personal and professional development, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, medical practitioners, and coworkers, maintaining a courteous and professional manner at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent, or completion of an official course in phlebotomy.
