Account Specialist - Banking

Millennium Corporate Credit Union is actively seeking applicants for the Account Specialist position. Qualified candidates must have basic accounting skills, a working knowledge of Excel, and strong communication skills. Financial institution experience is desired. This is a full-time, hourly position in our Member Service/Operations Department in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Perform inbound and outbound transactional processing activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts daily.
• Provide customer support via phone, email, or Teams in a timely and professional manner.
• Be knowledgeable about bank systems, accounts, products, and services to assist members effectively.

Support team members and collaborate to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong customer service presence with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Software Applications - Excel, Word, etc.
• Detail-oriented and capable of executing tasks with accuracy.
• Self-starter who is motivated to complete tasks independently.
• Team player who works well within a group.
• Dedicated and professional, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.
• Must be able to work full-time (M-F) in Wichita, Kansas.
