Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Computer Support Specialist in Sacramento, CA. An active Secret Clearance is required.
- In this role, you will provide desktop support for our customer, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and be expected to work an 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday.
- Performs technical, operational, and training support to users with computers
- Install and test computers, printers or configure operating systems
- Load programs and other application software programs
- Troubleshoot a variety of technology devices, coordinate needed repairs, and resolve computer system problems
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance
- An associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant work experience. A college degree can be substituted with at least 6 years of work experience
- Possess an IAT Level I certification such as A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE, SSCP, or a Security CE (IAT Level 2)
- Must be willing to work onsite in a secured facility
- Prior experience operating Windows 10 and using the Remedy ticketing system
- Possess strong communication and analytical skills
- Exercise independent judgment and collaborate well amongst your team
- Prior DOD experience is preferred and prior experience working with Xerox, Lexmark, HP or Ricoh printer
Business Development
Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
