Overview:
This position requires the removal and reassembly of all parts and awnings from RV coaches and 5th wheel units, insuring the correct parts are painted with the units with no damage. The parts person is responsible for making sure all parts are replaced on the RV properly, assembled, and are in good working condition. This job is completed using ladders/scaffolds, screw guns and appropriate hand tools and will be on the production floor at all times. Consistent and reliable attendance with this position is an essential function of this job as well as a positive attitude, self-starting attributes, and attention to detail. This position requires communication with a team member and will work alongside many other production employees throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Be able to stand the entire shift
- Be able to work indoors and outdoors as needed
- Bend, lift, crouch, crawl, work in small areas
- Lift, Pull, and push up to 75lbs.
- Must be mechanically inclined and know how to use different hand tools
- Removal and assembly of parts that do not get painted such as
- Mirrors
- Awnings
- Lights
- Back up cameras
- Cargo door latches
- Move large parts from different location that get painted
- Track all parts with each unit
- Insure all parts that need to be painted follow the RV through the plant
- Replace all parts on the RV after it has been painted with attention to detail is a must to be able to ship units to our customers defect free
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
