LOCATION
The Technology Integrations Manager is responsible for leading the analysis, design, and troubleshooting of information technology systems and processes within the organization to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness during the integration of clinical practices. This role involves implementing policies and procedures to evaluate and design new IT systems or enhance existing systems, ensuring alignment with current and future organizational needs.
The manager designs models and utilizes analytical methods, including process maps, flow charts, and diagrams, to facilitate effective integration. They oversee multiple complex projects by defining project scopes and timelines, managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and allocating resources efficiently.
Collaboration is key, as the Technology Integrations Manager consults with users and stakeholders to understand operating procedures, identify problem areas, and gather requirements to develop effective IT solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Utilize diligence findings and operational insights to establish and prioritize integration activities effectively.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical IT issues during the transition phase, ensuring smooth operational support.
- Manage the operating model process, aligning custom requirements with organizational objectives.
- Partner with IT departments to facilitate communication, support, and resource optimization across facilities.
- Lead a team of Technology Integration Specialists, ensuring the timely delivery of multiple integration projects.
- Work closely with practice leadership and business departments to clarify roles and ensure scalable processes.
- Define key areas of focus for the project team to enhance effectiveness and drive results.
- Tactical Leadership: Provide independent decision-making to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications during technical installations.
- Lead efforts to resolve issues across functions, promoting collaboration among stakeholders.
- Critically assess integration requirements and operational risks to identify and mitigate potential challenges.
- Assign internal and external resources to optimize project success.
- Provide comprehensive status reports to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Supervise external consultants to ensure alignment with project objectives and organizational standards.
- Foster open communication among all stakeholders to drive collaboration and project success.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP): Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification, a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification: Knowledge of process improvement methodologies may be beneficial, a plus.
- 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in technology integration, mergers, acquisitions, or similar environments.
- 5 years of experience working within the healthcare sector, particularly with clinical practices, is highly desirable.
- 4 years of experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Understanding of IT systems, clinical workflows, and technology integration processes.
- Ability to analyze operational data and leverage findings to inform project decisions.
