Working with our partners in the vol risk business, central trading desk and technology, we offer you a number of tools to assist in a portfolio manager’s execution process.

Principal Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop central options electronic trading capabilities by partnering with trading tech, trading desk, volatility business & PMs
- Create a roadmap for options central trading product, which includes partnering with business to determine prioritization and with trading technology to agree implementation
- Develop execution trading analysis capabilities
- Develop options trading data metrics & management reporting
- Act as the US options market structure expert
- Offer PM consulting on US options trading and market structure
- Design and implement a recurring process that drills into trading performance of particular PM groups, looking for and recommending possible opportunities to improve execution quality
- Design and maintenance of the analysis system
- Design and create scripts, reports, and visual tools for analysis
- Conduct research, identify patterns, evaluate trends
- Do science: formulate and test hypotheses, design tests, interpret results
- Communicate all ideas, questions, and conclusions concisely and effectively
- Contribute to regular data maintenance — monitoring and cleaning
- Develop expertise in the firm’s trading practices and industry developments
- 10 years of experience in options systematic execution/trading or options quantitative research
- 5 years of KDB and Python programming in a Quantitative Finance setting
- Highly analytical and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and sophisticated concepts clearly and concisely
- Scientific education, preferably degree(s) in mathematics or computer science
- Understanding of the basic principles of statistical inference
- Strong programming skills and experience essential
- Proficiency with basic tools (Unix, Windows, Excel) essential
- First-rate communication skills, especially written
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and thoughtfully
- Familiarity with databases helpful but not required
- Familiarity with data-analysis tools — both statistical (R, etc.) and visual (Tableau etc.) helpful
- Experience with trading (markets, systems, mechanics) helpful, but not necessary
Salary : $160,000 - $250,000
