Direct Support Professional

Miller County Board for Services for the Developmentally Disabled (MCBSDD) is looking for a reliable, dedicated, honest, compassionate individual to serve as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) working in our Residential Program in Osage Beach, MO. The following position is currently open: It is a 2 week rotation schedule. All overnight shifts start pay at $21.00 per hour. Daytime hours are $19.00 per hour.

• Week1
• Tuesday: 6a to 1p
• Wednesday: 6a to 1p
• Thursday: 11p to 7a
• Friday: 11p to 8a
• Saturday: 9p to 8a
• Sunday: 9p to 7a
• Total hours: 34 hours (due to the pay period 8 hours goes on the next week)
• Week 2
• Tuesday: 6a to 12:30p
• Wednesday: 6a to 12:30p
• Friday: 11p to 8a
• Total Hours: 40 hoursThis is a full-time, benefits eligible position. It requires the availability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Job responsibilities include assisting adult individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of daily living, while providing a safe and positive living environment focused on individualized, person-centered supports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, transportation in an agency vehicle, medication administration, financial oversight, and other duties as assigned.

All required training is provided by MCBSDD. Required trainings include CPR/First Aid, Level 1 Medication Aide, Abuse/Neglect, and other trainings mandated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Employees must obtain a valid Missouri Class E driver's license within 15 days of employment and pass a comprehensive background screening through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Family Care Safety Registry and the Missouri Highway Patrol.
